Selena Gomez is planning a global tour which could see the star come to Ireland

Well, this is exciting.

Having announced that a much-anticipated follow-up to Revival could be on the way after she released her comeback track “Anxiety” alongside Julia Michaels earlier this month, it also looks like we’re getting a tour – gah!

According to The Sun, Selena has signed a contract with tour promoters Live Nation and a global tour will take place next year.

This tour would see Selena in Ireland for the first time years after canceling her last Irish gig in 2016 due to her battle with depression.

Speaking to the publication this week, an insider said:

“Leland has worked with Troye Sivan and Ariana Grande and Selena really enjoyed working with him last time so they got in the studio again. They put the finishing touches to her new album in December and now she is making sure she is well enough to go on tour, which will likely include UK shows in early 2020.

“She is working with her team to get everything in place then, all going well, she hopes to release the album this summer.”

Fingers crossed this happens!
