Scarlett Moffatt lands three exciting new TV roles

Megan Roantree

She’ll be kept busy.

She may have become well known for sitting on a couch watching TV on Gogglebox, but her sense of humour and fun nature has brought Scarlett numerous exciting opportunities.

The Geordie was this year’s winner of I’m a Celebrity Get Me Out of Here, having been favourite to win since before the show even began.

Based on her popularity on the jungle show, it was a given that she would quickly be snapped up on another TV show but we weren’t expecting her to get quite so many jobs all at once.

Firstly, Scarlett will be the backstage presenter of the National Television Awards on January 25th. She’ll be working alongside Dermot O’ Leary for her first ever award show.

If you remember Streetmate formerly presented by Davina McCall you’ll be excited to hear that the dating show is back and will now be presented by Scarlett. The show originally aired in 1998 until 2001 so we’re looking forward to seeing how the modern update of the show does.

Scarlett’s third and most exciting role will see her working alongside her I’m a Celeb presenters Ant and Dec. Scarlett will be joining the fellow Geordies on the next series of ‘Saturday Night Takeaway’ when it returns to ITV later this year.

Fair play to her so taking so much on at once, we can’t wait to see her on our screens a lot more this year.
