Ryan Reynolds Shares Action Shot from the Set of Deadpool

Deadpool does his own stunts. At least, that appears to be what Ryan Reynolds is telling us. 

The Canadian actor took to Instagram on Monday to share a sneak peek at the filming of Deadpool, which is scheduled to be released in February of next year.

The action shot shows the Van Wilder star back in character as Marvel antihero Deadpool, reprising the role he played in 2009's X-Men Origins: Wolverine.

The film will mark Reynolds' first time taking the lead in a comic-book adaptation since 2011's poorly-received Green Lantern. Ryan met his now wife Blake Lively when filming the movie. The pair welcomed their first child, a girl named James, in December of 2014.
