Ryan Reynolds announces the sex of his third child by sharing the sweetest snap

Last week it was announced that Blake Lively and Ryan Reynolds had secretly given birth to their third child.

An insider told US Weekly that the baby is "about two months old". Neither Lively or Reynolds have publicly announced the baby's arrival. The couple are already parents to two daughters: three-year-old Inez and four-year-old James. And yesterday, when asking his fellow Canadians to vote and shape climate policy, the Deadpool star announced that he wants his "daughters" to experience the same natural playground he grew up in - confirming the birth of a third girl. Covering the baby's face, Ryan shared a snap of the couple beaming at eachother with their new bundle of joy placed between them.

They announced that they were expecting their this child in May, as they walked the yellow carpet at the Pokémon: Detective Pikachu premiere. An insider told PEOPLE at the time that Lively and Reynolds were "so happy and excited" to be having another child. They added:

“They really are the most in-love and in-tune couple, and very hands-on parents. They’d have a dozen kids if they could."

The pair met while filming Green Lantern in 2010 and began dating a few months later. They married in 2012 in Mount Pleasant, South California.
