Ryan Reynolds and Blake Lively make first ever public appearance with their children

Ryan Reynolds and Blake Lively are frequently spotted in public looking loved up but it’s rare that the star couple shine the spotlight on their children.

The couple have two daughters. Their first daughter, James, is almost two years old, while their second daughter is only a few weeks. James is the image of her mother, with gorgeous curly blonde hair and pretty epic fashion sense. Today, Ryan received a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame and to mark the occasion, the whole family turned out. Ryan wasted no time in thanking his wife and kiddies. "I want to thank my wife, Blake, who is sitting right there who is everything to me. You are the best thing that has ever happened to me," Ryan gushed. "You make everything better. You make everything in my life better. You've given me two of the most incredible children I've ever hoped to have."

Recently, Ryan offered some advice for soon to be dads. He was speaking to GQ and gave some hilarious pointers about how to help partners while they give birth. Firstly he said, "Be in the room, you're not Don Draper. Your wife will never think it's funny or charming if you tip your imaginary top hat and say, 'At your cervix.' Don't do that." He also added, "Realise that you're pretty much the least important thing in the room. It's gonna go your wife, your baby, the doctor, a nurse, a doula if you have one... the air." And finally he had one last piece of advice, "When your wife asks if everything's OK down there, just respond in the affirmative. Don't yell, 'Better than ever!'"
