It was inevitable that anyone with a connection to the actress would rear their head this week but the last person we expected to have been linked with Meghan was the British comedian. Russell appeared on ITV's Loose Women on Wednesday and was asked whether the rumour about him kissing Meghan a few years back was true. "As a matter of fact, it is," he revealed. We'd never have put these two together but it turns out that the kiss was for a film role rather than anything in real life. Meghan had a small, uncredited role in 2010 film Get Him To The Greek, which Russell starred in. "She wasn’t married to a royal, so I didn’t take any notice," he continued. "I wasn’t paying attention, I don’t remember because I was still out of out. I think I planted one on her, scripted in the scene." Meanwhile, with two days until the royal wedding, Meghan's father Thomas is said to be 'alert' after undergoing heart surgery. The 73-year-old suffered a heart attack last week. He had three stents put in and has been warned by doctors not to get excited, he told TMZ. "I'm ok. It will take a long time to heal. Staying in the hospital a few more days. Not allowed to get excited." Thomas had been due to walk daughter Meghan down the aisle at Windsor when she marries Prince Harry this Saturday but dropped out of the wedding after admitting to staging paparazzi photos of himself.
