Rumours are spreading about Cheryl and Liam getting engaged

We'll believe this when we hear it officially.  Rumours and speculations are beginning to spread about Cheryl and Liam Payne getting engaged. It's all down to a gift of a ring that Liam got Cheryl for her birthday last week. According to The Sun, Liam splashed out on a huge diamond ring for her 33rd birthday. It's said to have a black diamond and a ruby and is inspired by the huge rose tattoo on her bum. Cheryl recently attended Liam's sister's wedding and a source revealed that she got on very well with his family, saying:

"Cheryl has completely won them over, and now they’re both convinced she could be ‘The One’ that Liam could finally settle down with.”

They added:

"Karen (Liam's mum) is now convinced Cheryl is the perfect candidate to be Liam’s wife.”

Before we get ahead of ourselves, even if he gave her a huge diamond ring it doesn't mean that they are engaged. Cheryl's divorce from Jean-Bernard hasn't been finalised yet and he has reported hired a huge lawyer so it might not be sorted easily. Speaking of Jean-Bernard, it looks like he could have moved on to a new woman of his own, and none other than Irish model Nicola Hughes. The pair were spotted sneaking into a taxi after a night out last week which raised eyebrows seeing as Nicola stars alongside boyfriend Alex Mytton on Channel 4's Made in Chelsea. What was probably an innocent taxi ride has left people wondering what is going on.
