Speaking about his most recent role in RTÉ's Clean Break he says, "Playing Snowy was definitely interesting. You don't come across a part like that every day, you know, he's complicated. He's a bit messed up, which is always fun to do."
He continues, "Working on a production of that size is incredible really. You're working alongside actors you grew up watching, people like Marie Mullen, Sean McGinley. Even just showing up on set, you're constantly learning."
Dermot has already signed up to play the lead role in the Irish indie feature, The Drummer and the Goalkeeper, so it looks like it's going to be an exciting start of a huge career for the star.
