“Storm is a force of nature”
Ronan Keating has faced a very challenging year, marked by personal loss and significant changes in both his professional and family life.
In July 2023, Keating’s world was shaken by the tragic death of his older brother, Ciarán, who passed away in a car accident.
The heartbreaking loss prompted Keating to reevaluate some aspects of his life, which led to his departure from Magic FM and BBC’s The One Show.
Adding to the emotional toll, his wife Storm underwent surgery earlier this year – a procedure that followed her initial spinal operation in 2021.
Despite the seriousness of the surgery, Keating said he was amazed by her resilience, and said she was up and walking just a day after the procedure.
Reflecting on her recovery, he said he admired her for her strength, and told the Mirror: “Storm is a force of nature. She had a six-week recovery, but she was walking the very next day. The operation was a success, and she’s feeling great.”
Keating dedicated a heartfelt post on Instagram to Storm and he explained that it was his way of acknowledging her unwavering support for everyone around her.
“Storm supports our children, my family, her family, and everything I do. I just wanted to show her that I’m here for her, the way she’s always there for all of us,” he shared in a recent interview.
