The newborn’s middle name may be a tribute to Thicke’s late father, Alan Thicke, who passed away in 2016.

The couple welcomed their first child, their 1-year-old daughter Mia Love, on February 22, 2018.

Robin also has an 8-and-a-half-year-old son, Julian, from his previous marriage to Paula Patton.

The couple announced they were expecting their second child last summer, with April revealing the news on Instagram.

She shared their happy news on Instagram last August, with the help of their daughter Mia.

Alongside a video of the infant holding a sonogram, she wrote:

“Well someone is going to be a big sister next year! We’re so excited to share with y’all that I’m expecting again!”

April and Robin first started dating a few months after he separated from the actress in February 2014.

They made their first public appearance together at the Cannes Film Festival, in May 2015, after they had been dating for more than a year.

The couple announced their engagement on Christmas Day.
