Professor Green’s latest Instagram antics sent his fans into meltdown

What a messer.

Professor Green has previously spoken of how he wants to stay out of the limelight after his marriage to Millie Mackintosh became a popular topic of celebrity gossip but his new Instagram photos say differently. So first of all, he shared a photo of his present to girlfriend, model Fae Williams, on Valentine's Day, the 'bling' design featured below.

Then he shared an image of Fae, wearing the ring on the finger typically reserved for engagement rings, with the words:

"Fingers crossed this time ay".

Following that, the rapper took to his account and posted a photo of himself wearing the same ring with the caption:

"Engaged to myself. Wait a minute, wrong finger".

Naturally enough, people were going crazy with one Instagram user writing:

"So was it a joke or....? Now I'm confused!"

Another said:

"So still a chance for one of us to be the lucky lady".

It would seem that he was just having a laugh to see what reaction the post would receive but considering his previous words on affairs of the heart, it's pretty surprising. Millie and Pro Green married in 2010 and went their separate ways two and a half years later. Former Made in Chelsea regular Millie has since reunited with fellow cast member, Hugo Taylor and they've both been quite open about their relationship, with multiple couple selfies in social media.
