Prince Harry has revealed that he feels like a “bad uncle” after missing Princess Charlotte’s christening earlier this year.
However, we doubt the family were too hard on him considering his incredibly noble reason for missing the big day.
Prince Harry was not present at Princess Charlotte’s christening.
The royal rogue is currently in South Africa doing conservation work and couldn’t return to the UK because of his commitments on the wildlife reserve.
According to the Mail On Sunday, Harry opened up about missing the christening to his fellow conservation workers saying “‘What a bad uncle I am! I should really be there. But today I am here, this is where I want to be”.
Princess Charlotte was christened earlier this year.
Simson Uri-Khob who runs Save The Rhino, which the 30-year-old Prince is now working on, also revealed to the publication that Prince Harry opened up about dating as a royal.
Speaking about royal bodyguards, Mr Uri-Khob said: “We asked him what about if you’re with a girlfriend. Are they around then?
“Harry said, ‘unfortunately yes, more than ever. But I know how to handle that.'”
