Gypsy-Rose said she felt forced to share the results online

The 32-year-old felt she needed to clear things up after “a lot of chatter” around the paternity of her baby since the announcement.

Blanchard is pregnant with her first child and underwent a non-invasive prenatal paternity test to confirm that her boyfriend, Ken Urker is the father - and not her ex Ryan Anderson.

Taking to Instagram, she said: “There’s been a lot of chatter around the paternity of our baby and while we’ve known for sure from the beginning, I feel that it’s finally time to put all of these theories to rest.

“Here are the results showing Ken is the father. Ken is going to be an incredible dad and we are so excited to welcome our baby girl into the world.”

Blanchard and Urker first revealed they were expecting their first child together back in July.

However, in April she filed for divorce from her estranged husband, Anderson, who she married back in 2022.

If their divorce was not finalised in time for the baby’s arrival, there was every chance that his name would appear on her newborn’s birth certificate because of the relevant laws in Louisiana.

According to those laws: "If the mother is married to someone other than the biological father when the child was conceived or has been divorced for less than 300 days at the time of birth, the husband/ex-husband shall be the presumed father, unless paternity is established for the biological father."

Because of this, the only way Urker's name will go on the birth certificate is if Anderson signs an affidavit that Urker is the father. 

If he doesn't, and if Urker wants his name on the birth certificate, he would have to file a motion with the courts and the courts will make all three take a DNA test to determine the father - which has now been done.

After lots of online speculation around who the father was, Blanchard was able to put any rumours to rest to enjoy the remainder of her pregnancy in peace.
