PICTURE: Ireland Rugby Legend Dons a Different Kit Altogether on Stag Do

You’d think, for a night on the town, the last thing Paul O’Connell would want to be wearing is a kit.

That’s apparently what happened last night though, as the Munster and Ireland legend donned a retro Liverpool kit as he partied in Lahinch, on a night widely rumoured to be the second row’s stag do.

This picture of the rugby legend in the vintage kit, complete with wig, shades and a rather marvelous ronnie, appeared on Twitter last night and quickly spread across the socal networking site, with many finding it hilarious that the committed Everton fan was in the rival club’s kit.

We remain unconvinced. After all, when has anyone ever been able to ‘make’ Paul O’Connell do something he didn’t want to do… have you seen the size of this guy?

It does seem that he’s a bit of a kitten in reality though, admitting recently that his wife-to-be Emily rules the roost at home, and he does as he’s told. Good man Paul.
