Perrie Edwards Breaks Silence Following Split as Zayn Malik Takes to Twitter

Perrie Edwards has said that she’s “good” following her split from fiancé Zayn Malik. The news broke yesterday that their relationship came to an end last month, after which Perrie was asked about it. During Little Mix’s appearance on E! in Los Angeles, a presenter asked the 22-year-old how she was feeling. Zayn and Perrie were together for three years. Perrie replied: “I’m good, thank you.” Her bandmate Leigh-Anne Pinnock then swooped in, explaining: “We don’t really want to talk about it.” The girl band are currently in the US promoting their new single (which we LOVE), Black Magic. Earlier in the day Leigh-Anne shared a bikini snap of her and Perrie on Instagram. She captioned it: “Hello LA… #LittleMixInTheUSA”.

Zayn has also ‘broken his silence’ by sharing a somewhat strange photograph on Twitter. The picture shows a flower sitting on a piano. The former One Direction star did not write anything or allude to what it meant. He and Perrie started dating 2012 and, despite having their ups and downs, seemed stronger than ever in recent months.
