We are never, ever getting back together – famous last words, eh Taylor Swift? The country-style crooner is probably glad she wrote the break-up anthem, especially now given the fact that her beau, Conor Kennedy, has pulled the plug on their relationship.
Yes, according to reports today Conor, who is a member of the famous Kennedy clan, called it quits with the singer because he couldn’t handle how intense she was about their relationship. Rumours are circulating that Taylor came on way too serious, way too fast and Conor got a bit freaked out.
“Conor’s just an 18-year-old kid and wasn’t ready for anything super serious, but Taylor is looking for her soul mate and it kind of freaked him out with how strong she came on,” said an insider, speaking to gossip website Radar Online.
Hmm…to be fair, we can understand why Conor may have felt a tad bit uncomfortable. After all, Taylor has made no secret of the fact that she is absolutely obsessed with Conor’s iconic family. In fact, her obsession with the Kennedys is so bad that Conor’s cousin, Ted Kennedy, even referred to the singer as a “Kennedy groupie.” Morto for her!
Taylor and Conor started dating back in July
“Taylor is obsessed with the Kennedys and was living out a fairy tale with Conor. But she was more obsessed with the idea of dating a Kennedy, than the actual Kennedy she was dating,” said the source.
“Taylor is love crazy and loves living vicariously through other people’s love stories. She sincerely wants to find the person that she is supposed to spend the rest of her life with. But unfortunately, she thinks every man that gives her butterflies is that person,” the source added.
We wonder how long it’ll be before Taylor writes a vicious anthem about Conor?
