Mrs. Doubtfire star Robin Williams has reportedly checked into rehab to help maintain his long-term sobriety.
The 62-year-old, who is one of Hollywood’s most loved actors, is currently seeking treatment at Hazelden Addiction Treatment Center in Minnesota and could be there for a matter of weeks.
His representative told TMZ.com: “After working back-to-back projects, Robin is simply taking the opportunity to fine-tune and focus on his continued commitment, of which he remains extremely proud”.
Back in 2006, Williams entered rehab and admitted he was an alcoholic after 20 years of sobriety. In the past he has also admitted to struggling with cocaine addiction.
Robin Williams starred alongside Sally Field and Mara Wilson in hit comedy Mrs. Doubtfire.
