Conor McGregor announces baby news after historic win

Congratulations Conor and Dee.

Last night, Conor McGregor made history by becoming the first UFC dual weight champion after he defeated Eddie Alvarez for the lightweight belt. That wasn't the only exciting news to come out of last night however, as he also revealed at the post-fight press conference that he was going to be a dad. ''well I’ve a few announcements, one announcement is I’m going to be a daddy early next year.'' He said.

When it came to the due date he got a little confused, which can be forgive considering he just defeated Eddie Alvarez in the second round in under two minutes. When asked when the baby was due he said 'March I think' before looking over at his team who told him it was in fact May.

''It's not May is it? I thought it was March what the f*ck'' He said before adding ''look I am running from it, I am crapping my jocks with the whole thing, I don't know what to be doing with myself.''

He added that he wants to take some time off when the little bundle does arrive.

''So that’s kind of a little thing in the back of my head, so I’m going to just have this baby, take a little bit of time and see what way I feel after that and then that’s it, they’ve got to come talk to me now.''
