Mark Feehily has teased a Westlife homecoming show

Westlife star Mark Feehily has teased his return to the stage, as well as a potential homecoming gig sometime next year.

Mark sadly announced a few months ago that he would be stepping back from the boyband as Nicky Byrne, Shane Filan and Kian Egan continued the summer leg of their Wild Dreams tour.

The singer announced in December that he had been diagnosed with pneumonia and caused him to miss a good few concerts with the band.

Mark has since taken time off to recover from surgery and now that he is on the mend, it looks like it might not be too much longer before he heads back to the stage.

Sharing a snap on Instagram of the band together with pints of Guinness, the official Westlife account hinted that they have big news coming.

They wrote: “Us having a St Patrick’s Day Special. Could this be a little clue for something very exciting we’re announcing next week?

“Keep your eyes peeled to find out! @markusmoments @nickybyrneinsta @kianegan @shanefilanofficial.”

It wasn’t long before fans jumped to the comment section to share their theories as to what the news could be.

One fan wrote: “A concert in Dublin on March 17th?”

Another said: “If this is a concert in Ireland. I am definitely flying over and we are going!”

A third wrote: “Get ready for a trip to Dublin to see Westlife next March.”

Westlife last performed in Dublin at a New Year’s Eve festival to celebrate the end of 2022 and beginning of 2023.
