Man-Vs-Food Host Causes Outrage For Abusing Instagram Users And Suggesting Suicide

This really surprised us.

Her

Adam Richman, former host of Man-Vs-Food has landed in hot water after abusing a woman on Instagram, and suggesting she take her own life.

The presenter, who has shed 70lbs in a lifestyle overhaul, posted a picture of his slimmer figure to his Instagram account, including the hashtag #thinspiration.

It is believed a number of users were angered by the host’s choice of hashtag, especially as it is widely associated with social networking sites promoting eating disorders and their pro-ana/pro-mia websites.

A user who tackled the host commented on the post, found her comment deleted, but urged other followers on the site to send messages to Richman to spread the message, asking him to remove the hashtag.

His reply?

Richman lashed out at the users, labelling the women involved ‘a c*nt’, and telling them to ‘eat a bag of sh*t’ and ‘grab a razor and run a bath’:

The TV presenter later deleted his entire Instagram account, but not before posting an apology to those he offended:

In real life, if you say stuff you regret in anger, you cool down, apologize & move on.If you’re a celeb on social media – it becomes a blog
