‘I get a lot of things wrong’ Made In Chelsea star quits the show after seven years

We're sad to see him go.

SW3's resident cheeky chap and current Celebs Go Dating star, Sam Thomspon, confirmed his departure from Made In Chelsea today. Speaking on London's Heart radio this morning, he said after his bitter onscreen breakup with Sophie "Habbs" Habbo - he feels his time on the show has come to an end. We saw the last series ended with Sam getting dumped by Sophie after she revealed that she didn't love him. The breakup hit Sam hard, making him decide to leave the show and pursue different paths.

"You don't want to be around your ex. Everyone on there is now more her friend and a lot of my friends have upped and left. "I get a lot of things wrong, and I think to learn, evolve and grow as a human you have to make mistakes but when you're doing it on TV, people are judgey. It'll be nice not to have that level of scrutiny. "Getting dumped all the time was chipping away at my confidence," the 26-year-old revealed on air.

Sam who's not giving up on the hunt for love is currently starring on Celebs Go Dating, admitting that it's not as intense as filming Made In Chelsea (which he revealed "takes your soul"). For now, Sam is enjoying pastures new, however, has not ruled out a return to MIC sometime in the future.
