Love Island’s Megan Barton-Hanson slammed for snap featuring a ‘bag of white powder’

A new image has emerged online which features Love Island's Megan Barton-Hanson posing next to a suspicious "bag of white powder".

The image which was posted to Instagram at the weekend, shows Megan sticking out her tongue and posing with a group of girls in a toilet cubicle. The picture was taken when the girls were attending a gig at an unknown location. But what appears to be mistakenly photographed is the "small plastic bag full of a white substance". In an image obtained by The Sun, the bag is clearly visible and fans are now questioning whether or not the star was partaking in drug use. According to a source who spoke to The Sun, Megan didn't know the girls, having just met them at the gig and reportedly did not engage in illegal activity.

"Megan is not close to the girls in this picture – they met for the first time just before this picture was taken. "She absolutely was not partaking in anything that they were doing that evening. Megan is currently living a very strict and healthy lifestyle. "As she has experienced first hand within her own family the damage that substance abuse can have, especially in relation to mental illness, Megan strongly disapproves of any kind of substance abuse.”

This is the second time Megan has been questioned for drug abuse after an image of her snorting white lines during a 2016 photoshoot appeared online. Megan has yet to comment on this issue. You can read the full story and see the images here.
