Love Island’s India Reynolds says she received death threats after cheating rumours

Love Island's India Reynolds has told how she received death threats after rumours she cheated on Ovie Soko.

The 28-year-old was forced to issue a statement last week after the rumours began to circulate - with both she and Ovie dismissing their relationship was in trouble. Now, India has spoken about the "difficulty" of receiving death threats after the rumours. Speaking at her Boohoo launch, she told The Sun:

"In school everyone goes through phases and whatever, but it has only been this week that I have had all of a sudden, people writing nasty comments. "It was difficult, no one wants to see that and feel like people hate them. "I was getting messages like, 'if I found out you cheated on Ovie I will kill you'. I was like, that is mental, you don't even know him. You have literally read an Instagram rumour and now you are sending death threats. "I don't respond, absolutely not, I think I went too far in reading them, even looking at the (Instagram) requests. Sometimes you can't help but look."

She added that while the "week has been tough" for them, she and Ovie are "really strong" as a couple. She said:

"This week has been tough. It is the first week we have had anything like that. We have been fine, personally dealing with it, as a couple we are really strong."
