“I’m 22 and this isn’t a normal situation that I’m dealing with.”
Love Island 2018 winner, Dani Dyer, took to the cover of Cosmopolitan magazine for their upcoming April issue to talk all things love – love post-Love Island, love in the spotlight and love for yourself.
Speaking about the past year and her catapult into fame, Dani spoke to the publication saying that what happens post-villa is something you can never really prepare for and although she loves having her life in the spotlight, the criticism and public slip-ups can be overwhelming at times.

“I’ve had messages calling me fake, or saying I only got to where I am because of my dad. Or articles saying [Jack and I are] going to split up. It hurts because it’s not true. I’m 22 and this isn’t a normal situation that I’m dealing with,” says the 22-year-old.
However, the star admits that having Jack by her side thankfully makes it easier, admitting that being able to face a life in the public eye together, halves the battle.
Jack and Dani are currently the only remaining couple from the hit series with Adam and Zara splitting last month.
