Malin Andersson has been left shaken following the horrifying incident

Love Island star Malin Andersson and her daughter Xaya had a narrow escape after their car “blew up” on a motorway in England.

The mum confirmed they were both safe and sound, but it was an incredibly horrifying experience for both of them.

Writing on Instagram, Malin said smoke started coming out of the car so she left the vehicle with her daughter.

The car then “blew up” minutes after they left it.

“This morning I was driving with Xaya and my car started smoking out of nowhere.

“I took me Xaya out and ran down the side of the dual carriageway in time and it blew up and caught fire minutes later,” she revealed.

Thankfully, Malin and her daughter Xaya were not harmed during the incident but they’re understandably shaken.

“In shock, staying off here and @erintidey will answer emails or anything needed work-wise,” she said.

The former reality star added, “Me and Xaya are safe and sound.”

Speaking to The Sun, Malin said her daughter was incredibly upset after the incident.

“She didn’t understand what was going on, and she started crying, and then she was screaming, and then I was crying and shaking, and she was just going, mummy breathe, mummy breathe in.”

She added, “To feel Xaya and me in that situation was just next level.”
