Liam Payne has hit out at fans on Twitter following criticism of his recent interview with Attitude magazine.
The One Direction singer told the publication about the highs and lows of being in the band, including the rumour that his bandmates Harry Styles and Louis Tomlinson are actually lovers.
Some fans think that Harry and Liam are an item.
He revealed: “When the law changed in the US there were loads of rainbow flags flying at our shows, but I think that was mainly because people think of the Louis and Harry thing, which is absolutely nuts and drives me insane.
“It’s like when you know the ins and outs of what’s going on with people it’s just annoying when it’s so stupid.”
Let’s just say the fans didn’t take to these comments too kindly and called the interview “offensive” leading Liam to defend himself on Twitter.
It’s funny I thought people appreciated honesty these days
