Liam Payne Breaks Silence Following Cancelled 1D Gig

It’s the thing everyone has been talking about today (especially us) and now Liam Payne has broken his silence about last night’s cancelled gig. The One Direction singer has apologised to fans and thanked them for their kind messages.

I'm so sorry to everybody I disappointed last night. I'm feeling better now. I really hope everyone can make the rescheduled date on Friday.

Last night, the band cancelled their gig in Belfast because Liam fell ill. In a statement on their website, Aiken Promotions said: "The show tonight has been cancelled as Liam has taken ill, and whilst not serious, he is unable to perform tonight. "Please hold on to your tickets. A further statement will be made in the morning. The band apologise to the fans and wish Liam better." However another Twitter exchange revealed some confusion about the what led to the decision.
