Laura Whitmore hits out at Late Late after Katie Hopkins appearance

Like many of us, she is not happy.

Friday night saw controversial columnist Katie Hopkins appear on the Late Late show, despite over 1300 complaints to RTÉ. What she had to say on the show was obviously controversial, nasty and attention seeking, and it's not work even talking about because that's what she would want. Laura Whitmore, among plenty of other people was not impressed by the Late Late's choice of guest. However, Laura had an even more valid reason. She shared a note on Twitter which called out the Late Late show for their favouring the wrong type of guests. https://twitter.com/thewhitmore/status/797396133073088512 The presenter explains that she was once booked to go on the chat show but was told her charity work wasn't the right fit for the show.

''It angers me that certain other people who don’t need such a platform are given it to spread negativity and let’s face it, absolute nonsense. It leaves me with little faith in this world.'' She said.

We couldn't agree more. And we can't help but add that even those of us who don't watch the show would be far more likely to tune in to Laura Whitmore and her charity work that the person they had on Friday night.
