Laura Anderson and Gary Lucy split before their daughter was born
Love Island star Laura Anderson has opened up about her relationship with ex-boyfriend Gary Lucy.
In an interview with Closer, Laura revealed that they’re on good terms but they’re not together.
The reality star said she’s focusing on her daughter, Bonnie rather than her love life.
“It’s early days but I’m trying to focus on her, rather than myself,” she said.
The mum added: “I think putting your personal feelings aside and speaking to the person as a friend rather than your ex helps.”
She said they’re trying their best to co-parent their baby girl, but the mum said Bonnie is her main priority.
“It’s going to be a journey as she’s only a baby and this is all new to me, but I try to include Gary as much as I can. She has two parents and I want her to know that I always put her first,” she told the publication.
“I think Bonnie will end up having two or three Christmas Days this year and I’ll be doing a lot of driving so there won’t be much champagne for me.”
This comes after Laura opened up about her first Christmas as a mum.
“First Christmas I feel a bit of pressure, it won’t be perfect Angel but every year I promise to make it even more magical,” the mum wrote alongside the photo.
Her followers reassured her that no parent ever gets Christmas ‘right’ or ‘perfect’ but doing your best is more than enough.
One follower said: “You and Gary co-parenting and giving her the love she needs and deserves.”
