Kim Kardashian and Kendall Jenner get laughed at during awkward Emmy’s speech

Well, that didn't go to plan.

During the 71st Emmy Awards at the Microsoft Theater in Los Angeles, Kim Kardashian and sister, Kendall Jenner were the butt of all jokes when they took to the stage to present the award for competition series. Before dishing out the award, Kim explained how she's well aware of the workings when it comes to making "compelling" TV.

"Our family knows firsthand how truly compelling television comes from real people just being themselves," the 38-year-old said.

This line, that everyone obviously thought was a joke caused the audience to start laughing with both Kim and Kendall looking a little dazed as they continued to speak.

"Telling their stories unscripted and unfiltered" Kendall continued.

Kendall can also be seen looking back at a monitor, confused as to what she's missing while the audience and Twitter snub the Kardashian show and their claims that it's "unscripted" and "unfiltered".

Not good. Yet, people may laugh but it's still one of the most successful series out there and they're one of the world's most famous families featuring the youngest billionaire ever so, who's really having the last laugh, eh?
