Kate Middleton apparently WON’T be godmother to Meghan Markle’s child for this reason

As the elusive "spring" date of Meghan Markle's pregnancy looms, many are starting to speculate on certain aspects of her pregnancy from the gender of the baby to the godparents. But one thing is for sure, it looks like Kate Middleton and Prince William won't be the godparents. According to royal correspondent, Robert Jobson, he explained why Harry wasn't godfather to any of Prince William's kids and it does make sense, as he explained that Harry is already an uncle and so, he "will have a role in [the baby's] life anyway," The same goes for Kate in this instance, even though Meghan isn't a godmother to any of Kate's children, that doesn't stop her playing a massive role in their lives and so, the royals usually opt for someone who has a lesser role in the child's life like a close friend; not a blood relative or family member. So who could possibly be the godmother to Meghan's child? Well, there's a good few in the running from the likes of stylist Jessica Mulroney to the likes of the Clooneys and there's even speculation that Sarah Rafferty (Donna from SUITS) might even take up the role and tbh, that's the TV reunion we all need.
