Justin Baldoni has advocacy award rescinded amid Blake Lively claims

The fallout of Blake Lively’s recent claims against fellow It Ends With Us star, Justin Baldoni, continues today.

Baldoni has been under fire since details of Blake’s case against him came to light earlier this week.

Lively filed a lawsuit in the States claiming that the actor and director had allegedly sexually harassed her on set and went on to initiate a smear campaign against her during the promotion of the film.

The claims were filed with the California Civil Rights Department on Friday, December 20th and it included evidence such as text message exchanges and emails that Lively was able to obtain with a subpoena, according to the Mirror.

Baldoni continues to deny all claims made in the report but continues to face backlash; including being let go by his agency, and most recently having his Voices of Solidarity Award rescinded.

The award was presented to him on December 9th by the charity, Vital Voices, after he was recognised for his advocacy on behalf of women and girls.

Taking to Instagram, the charity wrote: “The Voices of Solidarity Award honors remarkable men who have shown courage and compassion in advocating on behalf of women and girls.

“On December 9th, 2024, we recognized Justin Baldoni with this award. On Saturday, December 21, we learned through news reports about a lawsuit brought by Blake Lively against Mr. Baldoni, his publicists, and others that is disturbing and alleges abhorrent conduct.

“The communications among Mr. Baldoni and his publicists included in the lawsuit – and the PR effort the indicate – are, alone, contrary to the values of Vital Voices and the spirit of the award.

“We have notified Mr Baldoni that we have rescinded his award.”
