Josie Gibson has reportedly been linked to the ITV skating show after winning the public's hearts on I'm a Celeb.

Producers feel like the presenter, who currently co-hosts This Morning, would be a fitting replacement for Willoughby.

With just weeks to go until the new series airs, producers are eager to find new presenters.

The show was previously presented by Holly Willoughby and Phillip Schofield but the duo stepped down this year.

Schofield's time at ITV came to an end after his "unwise but not illegal" affair was made public.

Stephen Mulhern will replace Schofield, but producers are still in the dark about Holly Willoughby.

The presenter is understandably wary of returning to work after an incredibly tough year.

However, they believe Josie Gibson will be the perfect replacement if she isn't ready to come back.

They're hoping Holly Willoughby will return but it is not looking promising.

Josie's stint on I'm a Celeb proved she was adored by the public and producers hope that popularity will transfer to Dancing On Ice.

A source told The Sun:

"She’s already proved she’s able to handle live TV during her time as a co-host on This Morning where she’s also developed quite a following among viewers."

"ITV will be hoping she’ll bring that popularity across to Dancing On Ice, if she ends up bagging the job in Holly’s absence.

"ITV are still hoping Holly will sign up. But the situation remains up in the air and nervous producers are now counting down to the start in days rather than weeks."

We'd love to see Josie presenting a show like Dancing On Ice. She'd be the perfect woman for the job.
