Joe Jonas and Sophie Turner finally reveal daughter’s name

The name of Joe Jonas and Sophie Turner's second child has been revealed, 14 months after her birth.

According to custody documents obtained by Page Six, the singer and his ex-wife named their now one-year-old daughter Delphine. Previously the stars only referred to their youngest by the initials D.J. and named their firstborn Willa whom they welcomed into the world back in July of 2020. Delphine is a name of Greek origin, coming from the word Delphís which can be translated to dolphin in English but it also has ties to a flower called the delphinium, a bluebell-like bloom. The former couple are currently locked in a custody battle as they decide where their children will live after Joe filed for divorce earlier this month. [caption id="attachment_434074" align="aligncenter" width="640"] Credit: Getty[/caption] Things began to escalate last week when Sophie sued her ex-husband so he would return their daughters to England after accusing him of refusing to turn over their passports. She asked a judge to order the "immediate return of children wrongfully removed or wrongfully retained." The couple later agreed that they would keep their children in New York. The document obtained by the Daily Mail and filed by the Game of Thrones actress' lawyer is "to protect the well-being of the (children) involved" as well as to "prevent the children's further removal or concealment before the final disposition of the petition." [caption id="attachment_434075" align="aligncenter" width="640"] Credit: Getty[/caption] If the order is violated, the agreement states that the court has the right to "take or cause taken measures under Feral or State law, as appropriate." Sophie and Joe had been married for just over four years after saying "I do" back in 2019. They both mutually announced the end of their relationship on their Instagram accounts. The statement read: "After four years of marriage we have decided to amicably end our marriage."
