Jamie Lynn Spears quit the reality show this week

The actress took to Instagram to thank her supporters for being so kind following her surprise exit.

Earlier this week, the Zoey 101 star left the show on medical grounds.

Fans were shocked to hear of Jamie's departure, especially because food critic Grace Dent left the shows just days before.

Speaking to her fans, Jamie Lynn said it was a "once-in-a-lifetime experience".

"I can’t wait to share with y’all everything about this once-in-a-lifetime experience," she wrote.

The mum explained that the people she met on the show were now her family, but it was time for her to leave the jungle.

She said being part of the show was "incredibly special" and said her fellow contestants are "the absolute best humans".

"I consider them family now," she told her followers.

"Thank Y'all for welcoming me into your living rooms night after night, and for supporting me through all the highs and lows.

"I am so grateful for this show, and all of the wonderful people apart of it!" she continued.

Jamie Lynn said she is going to take some time to recover and to be with her daughters, but she will continue talking about her time on the show in the future.

"I will be taking some time to recover, and spend time with my family, but looking forward to sharing all about my journey on I'm a Celeb with everyone!" she concluded.
