Christmas came early for Doireann Garrihy
Doireann Garrihy and Mark Mehigan have announced their engagement.
Doireann revealed their special news on Instagram this afternoon and we couldn’t be happier for the pair.
The presenter posted a picture of herself and her future husband to confirm the news.
The couple looked radiant beaming up at the camera as Doireann showed off her impressive sparkler.
She simply captioned the adorable photo ‘love of my life’.
The two made things official late last year by posting a sweet Christmas snap in front of a tree dressed up to the nines.
It came after Doireaann split with long-term boyfriend Paddy Wilson last April.
Doireann had kept anything to do with her love life under wraps, understandable considering she was already having a big year with her new Dancing With The Stars gig.
Rumours about their relationship started to swirl around last Christmas.
Doireann and Mark were seen together around the festive season enjoying a romantic night away at the five-star Powerscourt Hotel in Enniskerry.
They took a big step in their relationship when they moved in together.
Doireann said she has been looking forward to their first day in their new home for ages.
