James Middleton looks SO different in old images without his trademark beard

We'd hardly recognise him.

Now, we all know that as you get older, obviously, the way you look does change but, we hardly remember a time when James Middleton didn't sport his noteworthy beard. However, with a little digging and a google search of "James Middleton with no beard", our results proved positive and the younger brother of the Duchess of Cambridge was actually in the spotlight for a very brief time with a beardless face. Yes, back when Kate and Will said "I do" in April 2011, James Middleton looked unrecognisable without his signature beard.

But, it didn't last long and by 2013, James' beard was in full swing as he attended an event with Donna Air looking as dapper as ever.

In January, the Boomf founder made headlines for his moving essay on his clinical depression which was published by the Daily Mail. In the essay, the 31-year-old opened up about his struggles writing:

“I know I’m richly blessed and live a privileged life, but it did not make me immune to depression. It is tricky to describe the condition. It is not merely sadness. It is an illness, a cancer of the mind.

“It’s not a feeling but an absence of feelings. You exist without purpose or direction. I couldn’t feel joy, excitement or anticipation – only heart-thudding anxiety propelled me out of bed in the morning. I didn’t actually contemplate suicide — but I didn’t want to live in the state of mind I was in either.”
