The Era’s Tour is nearing its end, but Taylor Swift will reportedly be moving quickly onto her next project
The 34-year-old doesn’t plan on taking a beat on the back of the lengthy and demanding tour, instead she’s reportedly working on a novel.
According to reports, the book, which is entitled ‘A Girl Called Girl’, was written when Taylor was just a teen.
It follows the story of a mum who always wanted a son, but instead was blessed with a daughter.
Taylor was 14 when the story was penned, but it has never seen the light of day, until now.
The singer has since trademarked the name and rights to her first book and while fans are going wild over the news, some reports are saying it’s not the first time she has trademarked the book.
Back in 2015, she secured the rights to the name for the first time. After nearly ten years on the backburner, it seems fans might finally get a glimpse of her work.
The Sun reports that this new trademark covers merchandise for the book, audio versions and more – so it seems this time things are really underway.
While no comment has been made by Taylor’s camp, all signs are pointing to the project getting underway – but we’ll keep you posted!
