An Irish singer had a huge part to play in Molly-Mae Hague’s engagement

After Molly-Mae Hague and Tommy Fury announced the happy news last night that they had gotten engaged, it turned out that an Irish singer played a huge part in it.

Irish singer RuthAnne shared that she performed her hit song The Vow live for the couple as Tommy got down on one knee.

The couple met on Love Island in 2019 and got engaged in Ibiza on Sunday evening only six months after welcoming their daughter Bambi.

The Grammy-nominated singer took to Instagram to share the snaps she took of the couple, writing: “A pinch me moment! Congratulations @tommyfury @mollymae on your engagement & I can’t believe I got to be there to sing your song #thevow live for this most amazing proposal (good planning Tommy).

“Molly had no idea and I know how much this song means to them & wow the most stunning location I have ever sang it in. And for the most beautiful couple.

“I sang my heart out just for you today. So amazing to finally meet you in person and sing this song for you. This is why I write music and wow what a moment. #thevow.”

Fans of the couple may remember the song from their time on Love Island as it played during Molly-Mae and Tommy’s final journey on the show.

The reality stars were enjoying a getaway to Ibiza when Tommy surprised Molly with the romantic proposal.

In the video, Molly can be seen walking towards her husband-to-be and their daughter Bambi. The dad is surrounded by dozens of roses on a picturesque cliffside.

Molly-Mae fights back the tears as she approaches her long-term partner. She cuddles her baby girl Bambi as Tommy gets down on one knee to pop the question.

The reality star has not yet given fans a proper look at her engagement ring, but there’s no doubt it’s completely stunning.
