‘I’m happy with the pace we’re going’ Maura Higgins reveals she’s still not Curtis Pritchard’s girlfriend

It's been a hectic few weeks for Maura Higgins.

The Longford native who has spent the past couple of days working in Ireland with a demanding amount of personal apperances and promotions for her new Boohoo edit admits she's still not Curtis Pritchard's girlfriend. While speaking in Dublin on Thursday, the Love Island star revealed that she's happy with how things are going.

"So we haven't seen each other in two weeks but that's because of our hectic schedules, but I mean, I'm happy with the pace we're going and I think he is as well."

Maura and Curtis met on Love Island, getting together after Curtis' previous flame Amy Hart left the villa. The couple then proved to the public that they were in it for the long run, lasting until the end of the series and coming fourth. And although many couples break apart once the series ends with Island winners Greg O'Shea and Amber Rose Gill splitting two weeks after winning this year, Curtis and Maura hope to last much longer. Maura is said to be back in the UK now as she prepares for her new gig; Dancing on Ice. The Longford lady has announced on Monday that she will be a contestant on the new season of Dancing On Ice. Taking to instagram, Maura wrote:

"Cats out of the bag!!! I’m joining the cast of this years @dancingonice ?? and wow... I just can not contain my excitement."

And yeah, we're excited too. LOADS of people have commented on the post, wishing Maura the best of luck. Love Island winner (and Irish heartthrob) Greg O'Shea wrote: "So delighted for you, massive congrats!!!" Exciting times lie ahead.
