Hollywood star Mekhi Phifer has filed for bankruptcy.
According to TMZ the actor, who is best known for starring in medical drama ER, owes approximately $1.3 million.
The 39-year-old, who is married to Reshelet Barnes and has two children from previous relationships, reportedly owes a range of debts including child support, taxes and legal costs.
You may also recognise Phifer from his roles in movies including 8 Mile, O and the Divergent film franchise.
