Hollywood A-List Couple In Shock Split

Hollywood A-listers Sean Penn and Charlize Theron are believed to have split and called off their six month engagement. It is believed 39-year old Theron called time on her relationship with the fellow Oscar winner after their recent trip to the Cannes Film Festival last month. The pair, who were friends for years before their friendship blossomed into romance, were rumoured to have become engaged during a trip to Paris in December 2014, but Theron was never spotted wearing a ring. It was believed that the couple would walk the aisle later this year, while Sean Penn had previously filed papers to adopt the actress' son. During an interview with Elle UK, the Monster actress previously spoke of Sean saying: "Putting aside that he's my partner, he's the love of my life.” Penn has also been quoted as finding his life partner in friend Charlize: "53 years old plus finally beginning to figure out why you haven’t been happy in a single relationship? It could seem too late. But to run into somebody now who you care about is a much more passionate, deeper, truer and – God! – a much happier feeling. It’s a lot more romantic and a lot more fulfilling to be in a relationship and to think you’re a good person within it." Representatives for the stars have yet to comment on the news.
