New babies are kind of attention hogs.

Anyone who has had one of their own or anyone who remembers a younger brother or sister coming along will know that all anyone is interested in when there’s a new baby around is said new baby.

For that reason, it’s thought that we won’t be seeing Britain’s newest royal, Prince Louis, for a while.

We got a quick glimpse at him as he left hospital with mum and dad Kate Middleton and Prince William on Monday but he’ll be kept away from the eyes of the world until after the royal wedding, according to royal expert Richard Fitzwilliams.

He told The Express that the newborn most likely won’t be there on Meghan Markle and Prince Harry’s big day next month as he could steal their limelight.

“I very strongly doubt the royal baby will be at the royal wedding,” he said.

“Absolutely nothing must detract from the focus on the happy couple and this would.”

This also means the first family photos of Louis with his siblings Prince George and Princess Charlotte will likely be delayed.

“Expect the official photographs of the baby which come out roughly a month after to be postponed a while too.”

There’s little doubt that George, who’s four, and Charlotte, who turns three on Thursday, will be there though.

They’re expected to be page boy and flower girl for Meghan, just as they were for their aunt Pippa Middleton at her wedding last May.
