Here’s how Meghan’s mum Doria reacted to her daughter’s pregnancy news

This morning, Kensington Palace announced that Prince Harry and Meghan Markle are expecting their first child and Meghan's mum Doria had an adorable reaction to the pregnancy news. A statement released by Kensington Palace says that the royal family are delighted and mentioned Doria in particular, saying she's "very happy" and looking forward to meeting her first grandchild. Awwww. The first official statement came this morning confirming speculation which suggested the former Suits actress is pregnant.

"Their Royal Highnesses have appreciated all of the support they have received from people around the world since their wedding in May and are delighted to be able to share this happy news with the public".

According to Express, a spokesperson commented on the news too, adding to the aforementioned statement:

"Their Royal Highnesses are very pleased to announce the Duchess of Sussex i9s expecting a baby in Spring 2019. "Their Royal Highnesses very much appreciate all of the support they have received from people around the world since their wedding in May and are delighted to be able to share their happy news. "The Queen, Duke of Edinburgh, Prince of Wales, duchess of Cornwall and Duke and Duchess of Cambridge are delighted for the couple and were able to congratulate them on Friday at the wedding in person. "Ms Doria Ragland is very happy about the lovely news and she looks forward to welcoming her first grandchild".

The news comes as Meghan and Harry embark on a royal tour of Australia, New Zealand, Fiji and Tonga which takes place over a course of 16 days.
