Hailey Baldwin’s old tweet about Justin and Selena has resurfaced and its awks

In case you missed it, Justin Bieber has confirmed his engagement to Hailey Baldwin.

It had been rumoured over the weekend that she'd said yes after she was spotted with a sizeable ring on her left hand. Justin revealed that they'd gotten engaged on Saturday and wrote on Instagram that his heart was "completely and fully" hers in a fairly intense post:

"Was gonna wait a while to say anything but word travels fast, listen plain and simple Hailey I am soooo in love with everything about you! So committed to spending my life getting to know every single part of you loving you patiently and kindLY. I promise to lead our family with honor and integrity letting Jesus through his Holy Spirit guide us in everything we do and every decision we make. My heart is COMPLETELY and FULLY YOURS and I will ALWAYS put you first! You are the love of my life Hailey Baldwin and I wouldn’t want to spend it with anybody else. You make me so much better and we compliment eachother so well!! Can’t wait for the best season of life yet!. "It’s funny because now with you everything seems to make sense! Yeah. Our favourite line?  "It’s true GOOGLE IT!" We're delighted for JB and Hailey but in the midst of the celebrations, an old tweet of hers has started doing the rounds online that kind of jars with their happy news. Or rather, two old tweets. It turns out Hailey was once a huge Jelena 'shipper. "I don't care what anyone says but Justin Bieber and Selena Gomez together is the definition of a teenage dream! #word" she tweeted back in May 2011. "I'm for sure 100% team #Jelena." It may seem that Justin and Selena's relationship is ancient history but let's not forget that the pair were involved with each other as recently as March of this year.
