Gwyneth Paltrow is an Academy Award winning actress, and she also has a VERY NOTIONY lifestyle website called GOOP where she shares her tips on being a clean-living, Zen earth mother type. Sometimes the site produces such prime examples of notions that you have to read the posts a few times to get a full grasp. She recently posted a breakfast smoothie recipe and we have had to do some extensive research to find out what the ingredients actually are. Cordyceps A gross-looking type of parasitic fungus. Delicious?? Ho Shou Wou Also known as Chinese knotweed, it's a medicinal herb with apparent youth-boosting properties. Ashwagandha Also known as Indian Ginseng, it's a herb that is apparently effective against anxiety and arthritic symptoms. Various Dusts, Mentioned GOOP sell a variety of pre-made nutritional 'dusts' that include a cocktail of herbs for different uses that retail at $60 a piece (bargain), aka Sex Dust: "This warming elixir is designed to stimulate and cultivate sexual flow in both men and women.
