She really is as lovely as she seems!
Graham Norton recently shared his pure admiration for pop sensation Taylor Swift during an appearance on the Kyle and Jackie O Show.
The 61-year-old Irish comedian discussed his impression of the chart-topping singer and her surprisingly down-to-earth personality.
Norton admitted being struck by how grounded Swift seemed, despite her global fame.
“Someone like Taylor Swift, who is arguably the most famous woman in the world – it’s remarkable how she appears to be so close to normal,” he told the radio hosts.
“It’s like she can change the economy of a country just by showing up, yet she’s so lovely and normal, and just fantastic.”
Norton also praised Swift’s practical approach to her music, particularly when it comes to maintaining her voice during lengthy tours.
Recalling a conversation with her, he shared: “I remember asking her if she was worried about keeping her voice while touring. She just said, ‘No, I write songs that are easy to sing.'”
Co-host Kyle Sandilands agreed with Norton’s comments and shared his own admiration for Swift.
“She’s always been super sweet,” he said. “She went from that gangly teenager in country music to a megastar, but she’s stayed the same person throughout. I love her.”
Norton added that Swift’s strategy of writing simple, singable songs is not only smart for preserving her voice but also keeps her fans deeply engaged.
“Now all the fans sing along, so it’s even easier for her.”
