Former X Factor star Ray Quinn has announced that he has split from his wife of three years Emma Stephens.
The star confirmed the news this morning.
“Unfortunately the speculation is true and Emma and I have regrettably parted ways,” he said in a statement today.
“Out of respect for the privacy of my family, I don’t want to delve into my private life too much, however what I will say is that our lives, after a period of time, have gone down separate paths,” he continued.

“Despite this obviously being a very difficult period in my life I am keeping busy with my new music and will be continuing with my UK tour and the release of my new single as planned,” he added.
The couple were married in 2012 in Barbados, having announced their engagement in 2010.
They have a two-year-old son together.
Ray made headlines back in 2006 when he became a firm favourite on the X Factor, taking second place behind Leona Lewis.
He has since featured on Dancing on Ice and Get Your Act Together.
