Fans freak out as Cheryl and Liam’s son is seemingly named online

Well, you know what One Directioners are like: yup, a load of Cheryl and Liam fans are currently FREAKING out because they reckon the duo's newborn son finally has a name.

Step forward Taylor Payne - as listed on high-profile celebrity birthdays website, famousbirthdays.com, which has a penchant for getting these things correct.

It should be noted that while the little boy came into the world five weeks ago, so far there has been no official statement confirming the detail of his birth - including what his famous parents have decided to call him. Still, Twitter is awash with Taylor Payne mentions, as well as references to a 2012 radio interview in which 23-year-old Liam cites Taylor as a favourite name. Cheryl, 33, and Mr Payne have been together for 16 months; they first met on the X Factor when he was just 14 years old and she was a member of the high-profile judging panel.

Although the loved-up pair never actually confirmed her pregnancy, Liam did take to Instagram on Mother's Day to pay tribute to his girlfriend. "My close friends and family know there are very few times when I'm left speechless... wow!" he wrote. "I'm incredibly happy to welcome our new baby boy into the world, it's a moment that I will never forget for the rest of my life and my favourite memory I have so far."
