Fair City’s Amilia Stewart announces she is expecting her first child

Fair City's Amilia Stewart has announced she is expecting her first child.

The actress, who plays Katy O'Brien on the RTÉ soap, wed Conall Keating earlier this month. And taking to Instagram this week, she confirmed they have even more exciting news. Alongside a series of photos, which included their baby's first scan, she said:

"BABY KEATING COMING SPRING 2020. You are on an absolute mission and we can’t wait to meet you baby. "I love you so much already and I can’t wait to be your Mammy. You have an amazing guardian angel watching over you and so many aunties and uncles waiting here to give you a big squeeze. You are so wanted and so unbelievably loved."

The couple tied the knot in Sligo at the start of October, in what Amilia has described as being the "best day" of her life. Amilia took to Twitter after their wedding to thank everyone for the "gorgeous messages, comments and well wishes." "I am so happy to be Mrs. Keating," she said. "Myself and my husband are so excited for our future. Always fight for who you love and when you know...you know."
